Susan Schneider, a.k.a. Mrs. Susan Williams, finally granted an interview on the subject of her late husband Robin Williams. Since his suicide on Aug. 11, 2014, there have been rumors of a bad marriage. How was it possible for Mr. Williams to kill himself in the same house without his wife knowing about it until the next day? Why did they sleep in separate bedrooms? What really happened that last night?
Unfortunately, her ABC News interview (Nov. 3) raises more questions than answers. Previously, I believed he committed suicide. Now, I’m not so sure. Ms. Schneider doesn’t strike me as the soft, grieving widow she’s trying to portray. Her interviews seem staged. Her cruel actions toward his children speak louder than words. (She sued them for control of his estate.) There’s no doubt Williams’ health was in a steady decline. Had he served his purpose to those who were using him? Was there nothing left to harvest?
Death by Illuminati? Suspiciously, several days before Aug. 11, 2014, it was leaked on the Internet that Robin Williams would die soon. In the U.K., on the very night he died, there was a rebroadcast of “Family Guy”, where Robin appears hanging from a door. 
This is how he was found the next morning. 
“Family Guy” is well known for its predictive programming. Creator Seth MacFarlane is an Illuminati insider who says he missed flying into the Twin Towers on 9/11 because of confusion about his flight time and a hangover.
“Gaslight” (1944 film) is famous for its plot, wherein, the husband attempts to drive his wife insane.
In her interviews, Susan Schneider insists her husband was going insane because of “Lewy Body Dementia”. “He couldn’t control himself in the last month.” Accordingly, he was set for further neurological tests. She said he killed himself in order to avoid these tests. There is a great deal in these interviews that doesn’t make sense. Ms. Schneider said his assistant couldn’t wake him up. (This is a hanging victim, remember?) Schneider cries loudly for the cameras (without tears), saying “Robin! I forgive you!” Again, I would have to ask how a wife could not know her husband was on the brink of suicide? Why the separate bedrooms? Why the sudden name change from “Schneider” to “Williams”? Obviously, to appear as the dutiful wife. I just don’t see any real sadness here. To me, it appears she knows every question that is about to be asked. Is it all rehearsed? Crying one minute, straight-face the next?
Did Robin Williams join the Illuminati to achieve fame? After 35 years was he becoming unreliable? Was Ms. Schneider his handler? Why did Ms. Schneider originally try to sell their house, saying it “terrified” her to be in it, then says she won’t even move Robin’s slippers? Schneider claims her husband was “clean and sober for eight years.” Why had he gone to a drug rehab the month before? Why was his brain dissected and sent all over the world? To study the disease or is it part of the Illuminati ritual?
The manner of suicide is strange: death by strangulation with his belt. This seems next to impossible to do and a very painful way to die. If it was staged, why leave a pocket-knife nearby stained with blood? If R.W. wanted to avoid pain, hanging yourself isn’t the way to do it.
Ms. Schneider tells “The View,” there were “no issues in the marriage.” (Noticeably absent is Whoopi Goldberg, who I think knows what happened.) She cries (again without tears) when they show their picture together. If the reason to do these interviews was to dispel the rumors, I would have to say this woman failed miserably. There’s no real way to know what really happened on Aug. 11, 2014. There will be those who believe the official MSM version as told by the wife. There are others who know the entertainment industry is run by people you don’t know and wouldn’t want to know.

Paper Heart was a film released in 2009, starring Charlyne Yi and Michael Cera. In it, Ms. Yi tries to find out what romantic love is because she has never experienced it. Throughout, she conducts interviews with friends and strangers, most of whom think she’s weird.
Charlyne Yi’s occupation is experimental comedy.
Nick (actor Jake Johnson who represents the director Nick Jasenovec, who was too busy directing to appear on screen) is her sounding board. At a small party in L.A., he introduces her to actor Michael Cera.

At first, she does not like him, but Nick (a friend of Mike’s), arranges for them to meet up at the zoo, where they make a date. Gradually, she warms up to him. They share the same offbeat sense of humor and love for music.
At a restaurant, she orders a BLT, but substitutes bacon for pickles and cheese, calling it a “PCLT”. Michael orders the “Mexican Beach Salad”. While talking, he abruptly walks out and for a few moments, Charlyne is left alone. As a joke, Cera has walked around the restaurant. It’s clear she thought he left her.
Yi’s interviews continue: love stories represented by puppet shows.
She wants to know what love is.
Nick teases Yi (who wants to be one of the “dudes”), saying she has fallen for Mike. Charlyne (sometimes called “Char” or “Chuck”) isn’t comfortable with her femininity, saying she doesn’t want to be “just the girlfriend.” Nevertheless, she writes a song for her new boyfriend, calling it “You Smell like Christmas”.
Nick takes her to a fortune teller who says the relationship won’t last – that it’s good for now – but, they’ll go their separate ways. Yi seems to believe her.
Michael is becoming more uncomfortable with the ever-following camera, asking if they’ll ever be alone.
Yi interviews some inner-city kids about love, one who says, “It’s when you take somebody to Applebee’s and buy them hot wings.” When Nick mentions she has a boyfriend, the kids laugh and she denies she’s in love.
The film concludes with a plan to go to Paris, the city of love. Both Charlyne and Michael seem bewildered by it and ask why. Nick says it’s because Charlyne has found love. She answers, “But, I didn’t.” The next day, Michael Cera quits the film. (He reappears briefly at the end.)
Opinion. Audiences are divided on the authenticity of Paper Heart. Does Charlyne find love? Is it real? To me, it appears there’s a brief week or two of puppy love; however Charlyne is so unnerved at the idea of being vulnerable, of being a girl, that she cannot let her guard down. Most of the time, her body is buried underneath a hoody, her face peeking out like a turtle. What can be more telling?
Michael Cera enters the movie, reportedly to make the documentary more interesting. Whether his feelings are real or not, only he can tell, but he appears hurt when she says she doesn’t love him. I think to “save face”, Ms. Yi said this was all a put-on because in the end (which isn’t filmed), he, in turn, dumps her.
Afterward, in an interview, she was asked about Michael Cera. She answered, “Who’s Michael Cera?”

Most people aren’t aware that Toyota-Scion had been selling a mini-car since Sept. 2011. How does it differ from the SmartCar? The iQ’s wheelbase is 78.7 inches. The SmartCar is 73.5. iQ’s engine size is 1.3 L, 4 cyl., Smart – 3 cyl. 1.0 L. iQ horsepower – 94, torque 89. Smart hp – 90, 99 torque. (Roughly the same, but the iQ feels like your driving a normal car.)
The iQ is a three door hatchback. Storage space is nearly non-existent, unless you lay the back seats forward and down. There’s no glove compartment.
Why do I recommend it? The iQ excels. The electric-powered steering is as good as any car I’ve driven. The large windows give you amazing viewing space. Transmission is a CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission.) It shifts much better than the lurching SmartCar. Also, has a sport mode. There’s very little torque, but that’s not what this car is about.
iQ has a distinctive wedge shape – much better looking than the “Smart”. Interior is functional, similar to the Toyota Yaris. Estimated fuel economy is 36/37 mpg.

The iQ’s price depends on the upgrades, new $15,995 – $18,605. All in all, this was a missed opportunity by the public who didn’t give the iQ a fair chance. Sorry to see it go.

Brandon Lee, son of martial arts star Bruce Lee, is on the brink of fame. Following the success of “Rapid Fire” (1992),
he is set to star in a series of films based on James O’Barr’s graphic novel, “The Crow”.
Coincidently, Lee’s life is similar to the Eric Draven-crow character. Both are young, rising stars. Draven is a rock singer (album titled: Hangman’s Joke) and he’s engaged to Shelly Webster – played by Sofia Shinas.

Brandon Lee is shot in a scene when Eric Draven is killed bringing home groceries. (Note: This film was destroyed after being examined by the police. It was re-filmed later using a double.)
The most important piece of evidence in the death of Brandon Lee is a .44 slug removed from his spine. The autopsy proves that Lee was, in fact, not killed by a homemade blank cartridge or by a metal bullet tip left behind in the barrel of the gun. The .44 magnum revolver had been loaded with live rounds. This means murder.
Nevertheless, the mainstream media continues with their “official” story on how Lee was accidently killed on the set of “The Crow” with an ad hoc dummy cartridge and part of a bullet left behind from a previous close-up. In other words, the MSM is a participant in the cover-up because the media itself is run by those who had him killed.

“Imaginarium” is another Illuminati film, starring the late Heath Ledger, who (Guess What?) died before its completion. Apparently, Mary-Kate gave Ledger a prescription drug which interacted with another drug causing an accidental drug overdose.

He said the scene was changed at the last minute. He was suddenly handed the gun and told to swing around and fire at Lee when he enters the apartment. Lee enters, holding two bags of groceries, discovering his fiancée being raped by a gang of thugs. Funboy shoots, Lee/Draven is shot. The scene continues with actor David Patrick Kelly as T-Bird.

They argue. Lee tries to signal that he’s actually shot, but no one hears him. When the scene is over and he doesn’t get up, the crew realizes what’s happened. Lee is rushed for emergency surgery, but the damage is done. He is dead some twelve hours later.
“The Crow” is completed using digital effect and body doubles. (Another Illuminati theme – twins.) It’s dedicated to Brandon Lee and Eliza Hutton.
Since then, there have been sequels and a TV-series; however, none has come close to that initial greatness. Greatness lost at the hands of Hollywood’s death cult – a secret society no one in the media wants to admit exists.
Oddly enough, Bruce Lee’s character is shot in a movie scene gone wrong in “Game of Death”.

Singer/UK television entertainer Cilla Black died from a stroke on August 1, 2015. She was best known for her songs hits from the 60’s and 70’s. Most popular were “Alfie” (1966 single version) and “Anyone Who Had a Heart” (1964.)
Most recently, the BBC did a three-part series of her life, titled “Cilla”. (2014)
She also had two TV series in England; “Blind Date” (similar to the “Dating Game”) and “Surprise, Surprise”.
What I remember from first seeing her on an old black and white TV set is how clear her voice was, how strong and full of emotion. Such a big voice from a small girl. The only other comparison would be Petula Clark.
In the link below, Miss Black recalls recording “Alfie” for songwriter Burt Bacharach. The title song with the memorable opening phrase “What’s it all about? Alfie?” was from a British film about a womanizing cad (Oscar-nominated performance by Michael Caine.) Author of “The Exorcist”, William Peter Blatty analogy of a madhouse populated by war veterans. Everything changes when a new head of psychiatry enters: Col. Vincent “Killer” Kane (Stacy Keach.)
Is he who he says he is? Scott Wilson co-stars as Capt. Billy Cutshaw, an astronaut who has a complete nervous breakdown right before a moon launch. Kane must prove to him God exists through a miracle. Costars Ed Flanders (Col. Fell) and Jason Miller (Lt. Reno.) Films highlight: the biker bar confrontation that had audiences screaming with rage. Anti-climatic ending is beautifully rendered. Blatty tried for years to get this made with various stars (Charlton Heston, Kirk Douglas.) Won a Golden Globe for Best Screenplay. Original title was “Twinkle, Twinkle, Killer Kane”.
Spider Baby (1964, American General Pictures)
Weird comedy/horror film concerning the Merrye family; mental regressives who are homicidal.
Stars Jill Banner as Virginia. (Her best role. Died at the age of 35 in a tragic car accident.)
Co-stars Beverly Washburn as Elizabeth, Sid Haig as Ralph and Lon Cheney Jr. as “Bruno” their chauffeur and guardian. Cheney, known for his role in “The Wolfman” (1941), looks dissipated, but manages to bring it all together in a poignant scene that brings Miss Washburn to tears. Dark-humored farce is not for all tastes. “Spider Baby” has gained a cult following throughout the years. A new slightly, longer version is available on a “Special Edition” DVD.
Twilight’s Last Gleaming (1977, Allied Artists)
Domestic terrorists take control of a nuclear launching site, threatening to star WWIII, unless the President admits the Vietnam war was fought for no reason. I don’t agree with the politics of this picture; however, it’s worth seeing for its exciting story, acting, and score by Jerry Goldsmith. Stars Burt Lancaster, Paul Winfield, Burt Young, Charles Durning, Richard Widmark, Joseph Cotton and Melvyn Douglas. Directed with gusto by Robert Aldrich.
Dementia aka Daughter of Horror (1955, HPK Productions)
Gritty little nightmare of a woman (Adrienne Barrett) driven to psychosis and murder. Arty, low-budget, black and white. Unusual (to say the least) for its time. Barely seen – has a small following. Originally titled “Dementia”. Didn’t pass the censors, so four scenes were cut and the title was changed to “Daughter of Horror”. Most famously seen briefly in “The Blob” (the theater scene.) Over the top narration is provided by Ed McMahon.
Twisted Nerve (1968, British Lion Film Corp.)
Banned from network-TV broadcast for its alleged conclusion that Down’s Syndrome may lead to criminal or violent behavior. (Denied by the filmmakers.)
Hywel Bennett stars as a pampered mama’s boy who also happen to be a psychotic killer posing a helpless retard. Trouble follows when he fancies a sexy, young Brit (Hayley Mills.) Costars Billie Whitelaw (known later for her role in “The Omen”) and Barry Foster (“Frenzy”.) Both Bennett and Mills previously starred in “The Family Way” (1966), which bares little resemblance to this intense, psychosexual thriller.
Sweeny Todd – The Demon Barber of Fleet Street (2007, Warner Bros.)
The bloodiest musical you’ll ever see. Stars an Oscar-nominated Johnny Depp in the title role and Helena Bonham Carter as Mrs. Lovett (robbed of a nomination.) Supposedly based on the true story of a barber and his female accomplice who sell meat-pies with a secret ingredient: people! The real star of the show is songwriter Stephen Sondheim. His music is magnificently orchestrated. Tim Burton’s best film since “Batman” (1989) – stunning visuals.
This is Elvis (1981, Warner Bros.)
Part documentary, part recreation of the life of singer-actor Elvis Presley. Excellent overview for Elvis fans or for those interested in the history of rock ‘n roll. Contains clips from the 1950’s (raw Elvis), 1960’s (movie star Elvis) and the 1970’s (Vegas Elvis.)
Catfish (2010, Universal)
How much do you know about someone you meet on the Internet? The documentary “Catfish” answers the question. Young man (“Nev” Schulman) exchanges correspondence with a hot, young chick, then slowly discovers she isn’t who she claims to be. Disturbing look at how identities can be manipulated.
See the Man Run (1971, ABC)
TV-movie about a has-been actor (Robert Culp) and his wife (Angie Dickenson) caught up in a kidnapping plot. Great role for Culp. Genuine excitement and suspense. Twist ending. Available on YouTube.
Dr. Goldfoot and the Bikini Machine (1966, AIP)
I wish I had such a machine. Mad Doctor Goldfoot (Vincent Price) releases beautiful robot women for nefarious reasons. Satire on spy movies with AIP’s bikini starlets thrown in. Susan Hart never looked better.
Frankie Avalon costars. Title song sung by Diana Ross and the Supremes. A sequel followed titled: “Dr. Goldfoot and the Girl Bombs” (1967.)

It Follows (2015, Northern Lights Films)
About a sexually-transmitted disease; wherein the victims are followed by a slow-moving zombie who wants to kill you. The zombie can change its appearance and is invisible to others. Film depends on suspense more than horror with minimal special effects. Maika Monroe and Keir Gilchrist are especially good in their leading roles.
Blackbird (2012, A71 Productions)
Goth (played by Connor Jessup) tries to impress girl (Alexia Fast) who is already paired with jock (Craig Arnold.) Threats on the Internet lead to unforeseen events. Modern day story on how misunderstandings and political-correctness can alter people’s lives. Surprisingly effective.
United 93 (2006, Universal)
Based on the true story of the only hijacked plane on 9/11 that did not achieve its target. Director Paul Greengrass films it documentary style and it works. We all know the outcome, yet I defy anyone to watch it and not feel rage. The beginning of the War on Terror, whether people want to admit it or not.
The Misfits (1961, United Artists-7 Arts)
Melancholy farewell to movie greats Clark Gable and Marilyn Monroe – their last completed film.
Written by Arthur Miller, directed by John Huston. Co-stars Montgomery Clift and Eli Wallach, (who died recently.) Drama set against the Nevada desert, as three men all fall for the same woman – Roslyn (MM.) Depressing, downbeat, not the hit many think it was. Stark black and white cinematography by Russell Metty, evocative score by Alex North.
King Kong (1933, RKO)
The original and still the best. I know the special effects are better today, but the latter versions lack the soul of this ancient, depression-era oldie. Dreamlike, atmospheric, and who can scream better than Fay Wray?
Stop motion photography was the CGI of the 30’s. Directed by M.C. Cooper and Ernest Schoedsack. Stars Bruce Cabot and Robert Armstrong. Groundbreaking score by Max Steiner.
A Boy Named Charlie Brown (1969, Cinema Center Films)
First and best of the “Peanuts” gang animated films released in the theaters. Born loser Charlie Brown finally find his niche when he wins a series of spelling bees. Will he go on to be the state champion? All the classic elements are here: Oscar nominated Vince Guaraldi score, songs by Rod McKuen. Cartoonist Charles Schulz at his peak.
J.T. (1969, CBS)
Inner-city youth (Kevin Hooks) learns compassion taking care of an abandoned alley-cat. Heartfelt TV drama – the kind they don’t make anymore. Available on YouTube.
Cat o’ Nine Tails (1971, Warner Bros.)
Exciting horror-suspense film by Dario Argento. Stars James Fransiscus, Karl Malden and Catherine Spaak.
Mysterious murders begin occurring around a genetics laboratory. (Does a certain type of chromosome lead to violent behavior?) It’s up to two news reporters (one blind, aided by an orphan girl) to solve it. Recent uncut version is now available on DVD. Ennio Moricone’s soundtrack is also available.

Recently, the author of “Killing Jesus”, Bill O’Reilly produced his own version for a TV-movie. How does it compare with Mel Gibson’s “The Passion of the Christ”?
According to O’Reilly, “Killing Jesus” is a “historical account of the life of Jesus.” That’s strange. I thought the four Gospels in the New Testament were. Q. Where does O’Reilly have the audacity to proclaim his version superior to the Bible? “The Passion of the Christ” stays true to the Gospel. “Killing Jesus” does not. He (O’Reilly) even goes so far as to say that Jesus wasn’t called the “Christ” until after his death. Untrue. When Jesus asked his disciples, “Whom do you say that I am?”
Matthew Chapter 16, verse 16: “And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the Living God.”
O’Reilly’s Jesus doesn’t perform miracles, isn’t divine, and wasn’t fathered by God. According to Mr. O, Jesus was just a regular guy. There have been attempts at “humanizing” the Son of God before. There’s nothing new here, except that it’s been added to a long line of books obsessed with death: “Killing Lincoln, Killing Kennedy, Killing Patton”. (Jesus Christ was resurrected, the other men weren’t. HE invalidates death.)
“The Passion of the Christ” stars Jim Caviezel who does a remarkable job. This is tough movie to watch and it was tougher to shoot. Sometimes, you have to go through hell to get to heaven. Favorite scene – “Passion’s” conclusion; Jesus leaving his tomb, a most powerful scene that had me cheering.
Director Mel Gibson did not fictionalize the conflict between Jewish leaders who turn Jesus over to the Romans for crucifixion. The far left hated this movie because they didn’t know what it was about. If they had ever read the Bible, they’d know it’s accurate. I’m not surprised Hollywood sought to destroy Mel Gibson. The entertainment industry is run by Satan worshippers and the Illuminati.

It’s been almost a year since actor/comedian Robin Williams killed himself and yet we know as little now as we did then. Unlike the heroin overdose of actor Philip Seymour Hoffman, (who was depressed over a failing marriage), we don’t have any evidence as to why R.W. committed suicide.
The official story is that on August 10, Mr. Williams retired for the night after speaking with his wife at 10:30 p.m. In his own separate bedroom, he at first attempted to slash his wrists, but then changed his mind, folding the knife back shut. Next, he propped himself up on a chair, wedging himself between the doors to his closet and the bedroom. There, he hanged himself with his belt. Death by asphyxiation. He was discovered the next morning at 11:45 a.m. by assistant Rebecca Spencer. His wife, Susan Schneider had left earlier to go on some errands.
After a police investigation, it was decided that Mr. Williams killed himself over a long-term depression. That may be true, but it’s only a theory. His wife issued the following statement…
“This morning, I lost my husband and my best friend, while the world lost one of its most beloved artists and beautiful human beings. I am utterly heartbroken.”
Did Ms. Schneider actually write this? It seems as if a lawyer did. It’s too careful and lacks real feeling. She refers to Robin as her “best friend”. Wives sometimes do this, but does this allude to a sexless marriage? Why the separate bedrooms?
Call it a gut feeling, but there’s something I don’t like about Ms. Schneider. The fake plastered on smiles in every picture with him. The fact that she didn’t change her last name. Most importantly, where’s the big interview we all waited for? The one where she explained what happened on their last night together? It never happened. Sorry to say, I think she’s hiding something. It seems as if on the morning of August 11th, she’s avoiding him. No breakfast. No conversation. No hello or goodbye. Nothing. What’s wrong here?
More Troubling Facts – Ms. Schneider immediately sold their home because it “terrified” her to be in it. Why? What’s she afraid of?

Feb. 2015: Ms. Schneider sues all three of his children for control of his estate, who have said she is acting against their father’s wishes made prior.
Right up to the last day, those who knew him, found him exhibiting normal behavior. The trail of evidence stops with his wife – – and she’s not saying anything about their last conversation.
Why did he marry her? As a last chance for happiness? Apparently, he didn’t find it with her.
This is purely conjecture, but if Ms. Schneider had asked for a divorce, that alone would’ve been reason enough. In the last year of his life, he was working on a TV-series, movies and planning another tour, all to pay massive alimony payments. A third divorce would kill many a man. There were rumors of marital troubles. I’m sure with the onset of Parkinson’s disease, depression and addictions, he wasn’t the easiest man in the world to live with. However, if Ms. Schneider had been there for him – would he have died? She’s not with him on the last night and she’s not with him in the morning. Doesn’t that speak for itself?
Ms. Schneider, if you read this, I would have to say that your silence is deafening.

There are two different versions, AIP’s and the original one in Italian. The three tales of horror include, “A Drop of Water”, “The Telephone” and “The Wurdelak” – which stars Boris Karloff. (The Italian version is dubbed and does not contain Karloff’s distinctive voice.) 
“The Telephone” (the middle episode) has been toned down in the AIP cut. “A Drop of Water” is pure shock horror. Where did they get the woman to play the dead medium? Directed by Mario Bava, well known for being the father of giallo horror and the inspiration for future director Dario Argento.

Somewhat overlooked Marilyn Monroe film, more known at the time for the affair she had with her co-star Yves Montand. Comedy about Jean Marc Clement (Yves Montand), a billionaire who pretends to be a poor actor trying to impress Amanda Dell (Monroe.) Contains the showstoppers “My Heart Belongs to Daddy” and “Specialization”. Very funny in spots with cameos by Milton Bearle, Gene Kelly and Bing Crosby. Co-stars Tony Randall. MM’s husband, Arthur Miller, worked on the script, uncredited.

2009 remake
A brief comment on the new “Star Trek” movies – starring whomever is in them. (Does it matter?) This film contained a lot of big special effects, a loud soundtrack and the current style of non-acting I despise. These aren’t actors. They parrot lines and pretend. I didn’t believe them for a minute. In fact, I fell asleep.
Some viewers of the original series have commented on the “cheesy” special effects. First of all, I don’t agree. Secondly, good writing makes good science-fiction, not a lot of CGI-video game effects. People who don’t like the original should stick with their own miserable mindlessness.
Whether you like them or not, can you tell me of any other actors who could portray Kirk, Spock and McCoy? DeForest Kelley is the real unsung hero of “Star Trek”. His intense performances are often overlooked.
For me, “Star Trek” was over some time ago. Paramount will continue to redo it; however, the original is still the best.

Feb. 24, 2015. Eddie Ray Routh was found guilty of capital murder for the deaths of Chris Kyle and Chad Littlefield. Routh’s defense was “Not Guilty by Reason of Insanity” caused by PTSD: Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. Routh, a former Marine, who never served in combat, could not prove his defense.

My personal opinion is that Routh faked his mental illness. There may have been a conspiracy to kill Kyle for being our country’s best sniper in Iraq- 160 confirmed kills. No doubt there is a Muslim element within our gov’t that wouldn’t mind seeing Kyle dead.
Routh receives life in prison without the possibility of parole. With any luck, the other prisoners will tear him to pieces.

Nominated for six Oscars including “Best Picture, Actor, Adapted Screenplay, Editing, Sound Effects Editing,” but only won for “Best Sound Editing”. Night and Fog (Nuit et brouillard) (1955)
French documentary on the Holocaust. Focuses on Hitler’s final solution and his WWII concentration camps. Masterful narration, although the film speaks for itself. Unbearable for some to watch. What have we learned since then? Not a damn thing.

The Estate of Elvis Presley refuses to allow an official DVD release of his final 1977 T.V. special. Why? CBS has already aired “Elvis in Concert” twice. (Oct. 1977 and Feb. 1978.) It’s been seen by millions. What is there to hide?
June 1977. It’s well known that Elvis was near the end. For those who haven’t seen it, it’s a shock. There really is no official filmed record of the final version of Elvis, except for this one. His prior T.V. special had been four and a half years earlier: “Elvis: Aloha from Hawaii, via Satellite” – 1/14/73. During this three year interim, Elvis divorced and nearly died on several occasions from drug overdoses.
His main girlfriend, Linda Thompson, managed to keep him alive, until she feared for her own safety when Elvis nearly shot her, accidently.

In 1977, Elvis found new girlfriend Ginger Alden, who was basically a Priscilla Presley lookalike. Ginger was too immature and didn’t know how to care for an out-of-control rock star.
Elvis’ current album at the time, “Moody Blue” had been pieced together by RCA, containing random cuts from a few ’76 studio sessions, early ’77 concert recordings and one 1974 song. His voice is strong through most of it, especially during “Way Down”, in comparison to what would follow.
Col. Tom Parker (Elvis’ manager/agent) accepted the CBS special only because he didn’t believe they’d pay all the money they did.
“Elvis in Concert” contains two videotaped performances, edited together. (Omaha, Nebraska 6/19/77 and Rapid City, South Dakota 6/21/77.) The first ends with “My Way” and “Can’t Help Falling in Love with You”, the second ends with “Unchained Melody”, cut from the original broadcast, but shown later during “Elvis – The Great Performances”. CBS intercuts comments by fans and other footage, similar to the 1970 documentary “Elvis – That’s the Way It Is”. This would eat into his actual show time and songs, some of them not broadcast by CBS.
Although Elvis is only 42, he appears older. His weight makes it difficult for him to move. Even walking shows effort and there are times when he appears to be in pain.
Much has been made of him forgetting the words to “Are You Lonesome Tonight?”‘; however, this is what I would call a throwaway song. You could divide this program into two sections – one half for the songs he cares about and the other half for those he didn’t. When Elvis put his heart into it, as he does in “How Great thou Art”, there is still the power that made him a star.
It has been theorized that Elvis knew he was going to die and put this last effort out as a way to say goodbye to his fans. Maybe.
A single was released, “My Way” (originally recorded by Frank Sinatra), which seems to sum up the tragedy of the situation.
Also, “Unchained Melody” is another reminder of how great Elvis could be. He accompanies himself on the piano and invests every last bit of energy left.
On August 16, 1977, Elvis Presley would be found dead by his girlfriend Ginger Alden. Official cause of death: Heart attack. There can be no doubt that drugs played a major role in his premature demise. RCA would release a double LP album posthumously.
It’s unknown whether Elvis’ estate will ever give an official release to an authorized, uncut version of “Elvis in Concert”. It remains on YouTube. All the more reason to release it, since those who are interested are already aware of the condition he was in.
In conclusion, in 2002, an unreleased version of “A Little Less Conservation” was released and became another #1 hit. After all the years, the King still had it.
