August 27, 2025, Minneapolis, Minnesota, 8:30 a.m.  Robert Westman aka Robin Westman, 23, opened fire on the congregation from Annunciation Catholic Back-to-School Mass.  Armed with a rifle, shotgun and pistol, two children were killed, eighteen others wounded, seven in critical condition.   Westman committed suicide.

Motive.  Shortly before the shooting, the assassin read his manifesto on YouTube.  (This video has since been taken down.)   The mainstream media hoped against hope that the killer was a MAGA-hat-wearing Republican.  Quite the opposite.  Westman wrote “Kill Donald Trump” and said this was “For the children.”

Westman previously attended Annunciation Catholic Church as a child.

Robert/Robin had his name legally changed, identified as a transgender and said, “I know I am not a woman, but I definitely don’t feel like a man.”

Reaction.   Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey dismissed prayer vigils saying, “Don’t say this is about thoughts and prayers.  These kids were literally praying.”  He continued on by saying “Those who criticize the trans community have lost their sense of humanity.”  Mayor Frey is merely espousing the woke syndrome.  Beyond all, you must:  a.) support LGBTQ+,  b.) condemn God and the church and c.) forget the victims.

The MSM reacted in similar fashion, making sure they correctly identified Robert/Robin’s gender as a “she” and that anyone else who did not do so was a savage.  The left said the problem was not with trans people.  It was because people are allowed to own guns.

The fact that Robert Westman was a trans doesn’t place blame on the so-called “trans community”, but it can’t be ignored.
