Charles Manson, the leader of a hippie cult group of assassins known as “The Family” died Sunday from natural causes. He was 83.
In 1969, the “Manson Family” made headlines for the Tate-LaBianca murders.
Family members include Charles “Tex” Watson, Susan Atkins (died), Patricia Krenwinkle, Leslie Van Houton and Manson himself. They were sentenced to life imprisonment in 1971.
