Louise Lasser Dead

Louise Lasser, star of the TV soap-opera parody “Mary Hartman, Mary Hartmam” died July 6th at the age of 87.

Ms. Lasser’s career peak was in the 1970’s with her spaced-out deadpan humor used on film and in television.  She co-starred with her husband Woody Allen in “Bananas” (1971) and “Everything You Always Wanted to Know About Sex” (1972.)   She wrote and starred in “Just Me and You” with Charles Grodin and hosted a controversial episode of “Saturday Night Live”.
