The Misfits (1961)
For some reason, “The Misfits” doesn’t seem like Marilyn Monroe’s last movie; probably because of the publicity received by “Something’s Got to Give” (1962, unfinished.) It is, along with Clark Gable’s final performance, who died from a heart attack before it was released (1960.)
Montgomery Clift would also die five years later (1966); Thelma Ritter in 1967. The sole survivor for many years was Eli Wallach, who passed away in 2014.
The opening credits: Jigsaw puzzle pieces not fitting together describes the characters shown against Alex North’s moody score.
The screenplay by Arthur Miller was written especially for his wife, Marilyn. By the time, filming commenced, Miller and Monroe weren’t on speaking terms. Divorce was imminent.
The role of Roslyn Taber was meant to be her breakthrough dramatic performance. What emerged?
Monroe seems exhausted at times. The combination of drugs, Nevada’s extreme heat and her marriage falling apart took its toll.

Best performance – Montgomery Clift as Perce Howland. Clift’s face was left partially paralyzed by an auto accident in 1956. Although he started off as a matinee idol, the accident forced him to become a better actor. While filming Clark Gable’s scene, where he reacts angrily at Roslyn, it was real anger at Clift who thought he was upstaging him.
“Misfits” ends anti-climatically. The real finish is Gable’s monologue…
“Damn ’em all. They changed it, changed it all around. Smeared it all over with blood. I’m finished with it. It’s like ropin’ a dream. I just gotta find another way to be alive, that’s all. If there is one anymore.”
For whatever reason, “The Misfits” was shut-out at Oscar time, receiving none.
Time has been kind, however and today many rank it as a film of great importance, if only for being the end of an era. I think it’s more than that. Towards the conclusion, Gay describes the horses as “chicken-feed horses, misfits.”
Likewise, this makes a larger statement about the characters; people who simply don’t fit in, who can’t find their way in society and are marginalized. Back in ’61, critics didn’t know what to make of it. Now it’s easier to accept conformity.
Except how many movies from 1961 are still being discussed? And does its difference make it last?
There’s some argument about when Hollywood’s “Silver Age” began. Most critics cite “Bonnie & Clyde” (1967.) I say “Psycho” (1960.) There’s little argument when Hollywood’s “Golden Age” ended with “The Misfits”.

As bad as a Trump vs. Biden race might be, it could always be worse and it will be if that fat-ass criminal Clinton decides to run again.

It should’ve been on every newscast in the world. Instead, alt-news web sites are the only ones showing evidence pointing toward what I’ve said all along: MUSLIMS SET THE FIRE IN THE NOTRE DAME CATHEDRAL.

These are questions the MSM and French officials should be asking, regardless of their “official explanation” – an electrical short in the wiring. (All the wiring had been replaced in the 1990’s and is not old as they have tried to lie about.) Hadn’t the media/French gov’t made up their minds while the fire was still burning? Or is it because they don’t want to admit the truth? The fire was set by Islamic immigrants they invited into their country.
How did the fire burn so quickly? Have you ever felt solid oak? It’s as hard as a rock and does not burn easily. What really fueled that fire?
Why were the firemen so slow to react? Why did it take up to three hours for them to begin spraying water on the fire, after it was already out of control? The MSM ridicules Pres. Trump for tweeting “Must act quickly”. Since when did common sense become something you laugh at?
Another damning question: Why was a tweet removed saying Macron would rebuild Nortre Dame in accordance with the times? What is Notre Dame going to be replaced with? Is this what they wanted all along?
The Notre Dame fire is being referred to as France’s 9/11 in more ways than one. Just as the U.S. gov’t knew Bin Laden/al-Qaeda were going to attack, so I believe the French gov’t knew of the plot to destroy Notre Dame.
Easter Sunday – April 21, 2019, Sri Lanka. 290 people are killed and 500 injured when a radical Muslim terrorist group named “National Thowheed Jamath” set off a series of bombs in Christian churches and 5-star hotels. (One of attackers is named Mohammed Aziz Mohammed.) The media has refused to name them as Muslim, calling them “religious fanatics”.
What is the goal of the controllers? Why are obvious facts being swept under the rug? Why is it now “racist” to say Muslim terrorists did something? What if we here in the U.S. have to start dealing with the same problems Europe is having if Trump is replaced with a Democrat eager and willing to take in these foreign devils?

Notre Dame Fire (when you know it was the Muslims)
Paris, France. April 14, 2019.
Notre Dame Cathedral, Europe’s greatest architectural triumph and symbol of the Catholic church, became engulfed in flames and was partially destroyed.
The MSM immediately blamed the fire on a “renovation accident” and not on the millions of Muslim immigrants who have sworn Islam will conquer Europe. No evidence so far on how this “accident” occurred or the coincidence of the fire erupting during Easter week.
During recent months, several Christian churches have been burned at the hands of Muslim terrorists. The one sole man who was willing to say this on Fox News yesterday was promptly removed for “preaching hate”.
Witnesses state that during the first hour, firemen were slow to act. Later, they were praised for their actions. If I was in charge, I’d fire the whole fucking lot.
Pres. Trump was derided for tweeting the above statement. The leftist media scoffed saying water would collapse the structure. The church was allowed to burn throughout the entire night.
Citizens, the Western World is in an undeclared war with the barbaric hoards. How many acts of terrorism does it take for the collective left to pull their heads out of their collective butts and realize these sub-humans want to kill us? And if you’re stupid enough not to care because it happened far, far away, I’m telling you more of the same is coming here. (Last week, MN. Congresswoman Omar commented that 9/11 was done by “some people who did something.”)
Regardless of your opinion on the matter, it’s a simple statement of fact: You must choose sides. It’s us versus them. Co-existence is not an option.

The Haunting of Sharon Tate
Fifty years after the murder of actress Sharon Tate, “Hollywood Babylon” releases a docudrama focusing on the final days and the final horrors of her life. Starring co-producer Hilary Duff, the film mythologizes Tate, theorizing how she supposedly had a premonition of the “Helter Skelter” murders of August 1969. The ghoulish proceedings of the Manson clan have been documented before in “Helter Skelter” (1976, 2004) and “The Manson Family” (2003.) If this movie was meant to be about Mrs. Sharon Tate Polanski, why not show more of her life prior to her grisly end?
Her six films span from 1966 to 1969…
Probably her best performance was as Odile de Carey in “Eye of the Devil” (1966.) Sharon nails down her British accent perfectly, has an air of forbidden mystery and works well with her costars (David Niven, Deborah Kerr, David Hemmings and Donald Pleasence.) The original title “13” forecasts some of the bad luck that would befall it. The original star, Kim Novak, was forced to quit after a horse-riding accident. (She had already filmed three-quarters of her performance.) MGM, prior to release, cut down its length, causing gaps in the storyline. The film did not receive good reviews and wasn’t a financial success.
“Don’t Make Waves” (1967) stars Tony Curtis and Claudia Cardinale. Sharon appears as “Malibu” seen mostly in a bikini. Afterward, regarding the publicity, Sharon refers to herself as “sexy little me.” Her new image: a free-spirited sex-symbol.
“The Fearless Vampire Killers or Pardon Me, But Your Teeth are in My Neck” aka “Dance of the Vampires” (1967.) Sharon meets director Roman Polanski, beginning an affair, ending in marriage. FVK has garnered a loyal following throughout the years, especially for the original director’s cut (known as the “European Version”.) Producer Martin Ransohoff (also Sharon’s agent) would re-edit and re-dub the film to Polanski’s rage who swore never to work with him again.
“Valley of the Dolls” (1967.) Based on Jacqueline Susann’s runaway bestseller, what could go wrong? Plenty. VOTD still remains on many worst film lists of all time. The author didn’t like it either; saying she downed some Seconals after seeing it. First of all, casting Patty Duke as “a great singer” doesn’t work because she can’t sing. Her performance as Neely O’Hara is off-kilter. (Duke blamed director Mark Robson, who antagonized both her and Tate.) What remains is a sweet, sad performance by Sharon as Jennifer North, a doomed starlet. Barbra Parkins also stars as the classy Anne Welles (partially based on Susann herself.)

“The Wrecking Crew” (1968.) Last of the Dean Martin-Matt Helm spy series. Sharon costars as Freya Carlson, Matt’s klutzy assistant. She received good reviews for her comedic skills.
The 13 Chairs aka 12 + 1 (1969.) Odd European comedy with Vittorio Gassmann. Odd because it isn’t particularly funny. Sharon was pregnant during filming, which the director tried to hide. Few people have seen this. Orson Welles has a small role.
Shortly before her death, Sharon gave Roman a copy of “Tess of the d’Urbervilles” in hopes of casting her. The 1979 Polanski film is dedicated to her memory.
Most people know that on 8-9-69, the “Manson Family” (Charles”Tex” Watson, Susan Atkins and Patricia Krenwinkel) would ruthlessly butcher Sharon Tate and her unborn child, Jay Sebring, Wojciech Frykowski, Abigail Folger and Steve Parent. The official motive was that Charles Manson wanted to set off a race war where the white establishment would be defeated by black militants. In turn, Manson and his family, would rise up from out of the desert and take control of his new kingdom.
The more likely modus operandi: Charles Manson wanted to be a rock star. The closest he came was writing a song for the Beach Boys. (“Cease to Exist” re-titled “Never Learn Not to Love”.)
Manson met record producer Terry Melcher, who listened to his music, pretended to like it, gave him a false promise of some sort of record deal, then never spoke to him again.
The house Sharon Tate and Roman Polanski lived in was formerly Melcher’s. Manson went looking for him there and was rudely turned away. Tate and Manson briefly exchanged looks. Later, Sharon commented, asking, “Who was that creepy guy?”
The murders were more of a message, not only to Melcher, but to the Hollywood establishment. “This is what you get for ignoring me.”
“The Haunting of Sharon Tate” has limited showings only in New York City.

Cultural Appropriation
The elitist-white-liberals have another cause to add to their lengthy to-do list on how to save the world. It’s called “cultural appropriation”, i.e., when the wrong race (usually white) takes another cultural identity, using it for their own purposes.
Examples are: When the wrong (offending) race wears the wrong clothing, eats their food, uses their slang, listens or imitates their music. (What the left deems unworthy of them.)
My question is: What happens when other races misappropriate white folks identities? Answer: Nothing.

New abortion laws may be on the horizon. New York state wants abortion allowed right up to the last minute of birth and a Virginia bill proposes killing the baby after if it born, if the mother doesn’t want it. Previous arguments for abortion were that “it’s not human yet,” “it’s just fetal tissue,” and “there’s no brain-wave pattern.” (Which means the far-left are the living dead.)

Arthur Bremer reminds me of the current radical left
On May 12, 1972, would-be assassin Arthur Bremer opens fire on presidential candidate Gov. George Wallace, shooting him four times, leaving him paralyzed from the waist down. (Three others were also wounded.)
Back in the day, I and everyone else accepted the MSM’s version of the events – that Bremer was a lone nutcase, a loser seeking fame.
What most didn’t know was that Bremer really wanted to kill President Nixon. After a few failed attempts, he gave up, concluding that the President was too heavily guarded.
Bremer picked Gov. Wallace because he was a segregationist. (Sound familiar?) The Alabama governor put forced school busing on the table as a major issue in ’72. [Nixon stopped busing.]
It should be noted that Gov. Wallace was running for the Democratic nomination. [The Dixiercrats. And he was doing well.]
Arthur Bremer had his beliefs and preferences. Why didn’t he try to kill Sen. George McGovern? This is something the MSM chooses not to speak about.
Another question: if Bremer sought fame, why has remained silent for all these years? Most young people have never heard of him. Why has the MSM swept this man under the rug? (Arthur Bremer was sentenced to serve 63 years in prison, yet for whatever reason was paroled in 2007, after serving only 35.)
TODAY. We have a President who many erroneously believe to be a racist.
In 2016, Dems firmly believed they had the presidency locked up – and when they lost – many became unhinged. So I ask, are there any Arthur Bremers out there, pushed to the breaking point by the non-stop, anti-Trump coverage, 24/7?

The Sad Last Days of Montgomery Clift
Back in the 1950’s, Montgomery Clift was at the top of his game, among the highest of the echelon of actors for that time. Marlon Brando stated that he thought Clift was his only serious competitor.
On May 12, 1956, while driving home from a party held by his close personal friend Elizabeth Taylor, his car crumpled into a phone pole, nearly killing him. Surviving, his shattered face was corrected with plastic surgery; however, the left side remained paralyzed.
The 1960’s became a rough time for “Monty” except for 1961, when he received a Best Supporting Actor nomination for “Judgement at Nuremberg” and excellent reviews for “The Misfits”.
Unfortunately, after “Freud” (1962), a film beset with many setbacks and problems, Clift was no longer bankable. (He would receive much of the blame, undeservedly.) It was true, he had trouble remembering his lines. He became addicted to drugs and alcohol, used to dull the pain of the accident. An eccentric to begin with, later day behavior became increasingly bizarre. Plus, his sight was failing due to cataracts. He became un-insurable.
Still, Clift wanted to act. He pleaded with Warner Brothers for the role of John Singer in “The Heart is a Lonely Hunter”. Warners turned him down. (Alan Arkin took the role, receiving an Oscar nomination.)
Clift and Liz Taylor discussed roles for them together. They had already starred in “A Place in the Sun”, “Raintree County” and “Suddenly Last Summer”. There was talk of them doing “The Owl and the Pussycat”. (Later to be filmed with Barbra Streisand and George Segal.)
Ultiimately, they settled for “Reflections in a Golden Eye”. Warner Bros. wanted proof he could still perform for the cameras. So they cast him in the low-budget, grade-B cold war spy drama “The Defector”. Clift knew it was schlock, yet did it anyway, just to prove he could still act. It became his last.

Film vs. Video (Theaters)
Many movie theaters have switched to “all-digital formats”, that is, film presented on video, which is not film at all. In other words, what you are watching resembles your T.V. set at home. Why bother?
Additionally, movies aren’t being “filmed”. They’re HD-video. The studios said this is done to save money. Why do they need to save money if they already have billions of dollars in profit? Some film directors (Christopher Nolan, for example) remain loyal to film.
Is there a difference?
What do you think Blu-ray is all about? Because of the increase in resolution, you are able to see some film grain. Additionally, there’s more depth and detail. DVD gives a smooth look.
Am I the only one who’s noticed that new movies all resemble sit-coms? Too bright, no shadows, everything appears flat. This is lazy film-making.
Examine old films. Early James Bond. The cinematography is deep and rich in color. Almost like slide film. What about the shadows in “Godfather” 1 and 2? The first “Night of the Living Dead (1968?) 1950’s film noir?
If I’m expected to fork over ten bucks for a movie, I want an experience! And that experience is dying. Overpriced tickets and overpriced greasy fake-butter popcorn. There are no lines. There’s no sense of excitement. People can’t stop looking at their cellphones. Nobody laughs at the unfunny comedies. Where’s the talent? I can’t say much for many of the actors of today. The women are loud, obnoxious and unattractive. The men are either weakling soy-boys or over-the-top maniacs.
In 2018, I saw Clint Eastwood in “The Mule” and Burt Reynolds in “The Last Movie Star”. Both are worth seeing because they were and are real movie stars. Yes, they’re old, Reynolds is dead now, but whatever it is that made them famous is still there.

Also, the fledgling sparrow is suddenly the star of “60 Minutes”. How’d that happen?
Listen, an unknown girl still wearing a training bra doesn’t just come out of nowhere and become a household name, unless there are others making it happen. Citizens, we are being played once again. Before, it was that “clean, articulate, Harvard law professor from Kenya, I mean Hawaii. Now, it’s AOC “from the Bronx.” (Or is it a wealthy N.Y. suburb?)

David Cassidy Dead
David Cassidy, who starred as Keith in “The Partridge Family” (1970-1974), died on November 21, 2017. He was 67. Cause of death was organ failure. Earlier this year, Cassidy was diagnosed with dementia and forced to retire in March.
David Cassidy made somewhat of a comeback in the 90’s, beginning with this song video titled “Lyin’ to Myself”. (from the album titled “David Cassidy”.)

Charles Manson Dead
Charles Manson, the leader of a hippie cult group of assassins known as “The Family” died Sunday from natural causes. He was 83.
In 1969, the “Manson Family” made headlines for the Tate-LaBianca murders.
Family members include Charles “Tex” Watson, Susan Atkins (died), Patricia Krenwinkle, Leslie Van Houton and Manson himself. They were sentenced to life imprisonment in 1971.

From here on, America begins its most dangerous time. There is no longer any doubt, Barack Obama has made himself our dictator, creating laws he calls “executive orders”. Even the mainstream media is aware of it, blithely wondering if Congress or the Supreme Court can slow down his agenda. As I wrote before, it is up to you, the people, to stop him.
What about impeachment? Even if by some miracle, Congress summoned up the courage for impeachment hearings, it would eventually fail, as it did for Bill Clinton. The President has access to many secret files that could sink the careers of those in Congress.
At this point, assuming Obama continues his imperial presidency, my best advice for those who are able, is to leave the country, until the new president is inaugurated. I’m more than certain Martial Law is coming. The U.S. is about to be torn apart from without and within.
First of all, the Obama Administration is coordinating with black Muslim groups (such as “The New Black Panther Party”) to create civil unrest and riots in Ferguson, MO. Agitators designed to lead the black community into bloody violence. The President hopes this will spread across America. How’s that for “hope and change”?
Secondly, Obama is goading Russian Pres. Putin into a war over Syria. BHO hasn’t forgotten his humiliation over “the red line drawn” and his failed bombing campaign of the Assad regime. Putin knows well that Obama is arming the “rebels” ( Islamic terrorists) to overthrow Assad. This is a proxy war, like Vietnam. Except back then, we were #1. Militarily, Russia is now #1. Obama knows this.
Do you feel comfortable with this President’s finger on the red button? What do you think the consequences will be of a nuclear war? Is this what the New World Order wants? Is this part of their depopulation program? Are FEMA camps next for those who won’t go along with Obama’s utopia?
Citizens, we did this to ourselves. Obama didn’t become President by himself. Remember 2008? Remember that cocky, young senator, grinning from ear-to-ear promising “social justice”? The American people had a choice, just like Adam and Eve, and then made the wrong one. Now, we will suffer for it.

In 1965, Obama’s mother, Stanley Ann Dunham remarried an Indonesian named Lolo Soetoro. Upon moving to Indonesia, she decides to remove her son from her passport. Did she obtain an Indonesian passport for Obama? An application still exists, with his name crossed out and the added name “Soebarkah”. Reportedly, his mother believed there would be violence to her son, as an American.
Barack Obama’s name is legally changed to Barry Soetoro and is part of the official school records. (St. Fransiskus Assisis in Jakarta.) His citizenship is listed as “Indonesian”. (Photo above.) This indicates he was adopted; however Obama denies it.

Obama owns a Connecticut-issued Social Security card, despite the fact that he never worked or lived there. The number is 042-68-4425 and has been traced to a Harrison J. Bounel, born in 1890. The fact that Obama did not release his birth certificate until April 27, 2011, (two and a half years into his presidency), proves that he was not vetted in 2008. Previously, an online release of a “Certificate of Live Birth” had been BHO’s only proof. The most important fact about Obama’s birth certificate is this – it does not prove he is an American citizen, because his citizenship was changed to Indonesian in 1968. There is even a great deal of doubt regarding Obama’s Hawaiian long-form birth certificate, acquired through his own “special dispensation”. (In other words, it was created on request.)

EBOLA – Obama’s cheerleading squad, the mainstream media, can’t figure out why the President won’t discontinue flights from West Africa into the USA. Obummer is waiting for the mid-term elections because if he stopped the immigrations (even of EBOLA patients), he would be asked to close the U.S./Mexican border as well. That he won’t do. After the mid-terms and after granting amnesty to the illegals, then BHO will quarantine W. Africa. It’s also worth mentioning that Obama was lying when he said that EBOLA won’t spread and that it’s hard to catch. The opposite is true.
ISIS + OBAMA’S FAKE WAR – The MSM have been showing quick montages of U.S. military air-strikes in Iraq and Syria. What they aren’t telling you is that Obama is bombing empty buildings and trucks. Casualties are being kept at a bare minimum. BHO won’t bomb the tanks ISIS stole from Iraq (ultimately from us) because he wants the “rebels” (ISIS) to depose Syrian Pres. Assad. Why? Because Assad is a Alawite (Shi’ite) and Obama is a Sunni. Also, Assad blocks the caliphate Obummer wants.
MSM DENIAL – The lame-brained, left-wing, media egg-heads still refuse to admit the complete and utter disaster of Obama’s presidency. Even his former CIA chief and Sec’t of Defense Leon Panetta announced that “Obama is not a leader, he’s a law professor,” “who’s lost his way” and that it remains to be seen if he’ll “make the right decisions.”
Dems are stuck with the “Obama will come through in the end” mantra. What a pitiful excuse. The truth is: Obama is doing as much damage as possible in the next two years, whether by executive actions or inactions.

After sending in ground troops, ISIL would no longer exist. Also, we would no longer have a president apologizing and humiliating the U.S. or saying that “Islam is a religion of peace.”

The public is being fooled if they think Obama is going to stop ISIS. A few scattered air-strikes on empty buildings aren’t enough. No matter what the President says, al-Qaeda is not “decimated”.
Would America be better off without Obama? It would have been better if Barack Obama had never been born. His presidency has damaged this country beyond belief. Many thousands more will die as radical Islam spreads across the Middle East, Europe and the USA. Obama has encouraged this climate of terrorism and violence by his inactions.

Sept. 26, Moore, Oklahoma. Vaughan Foods Plant. Colleen Hufford, 54, is beheaded by Alton Nolen, 30, because she refused to covert to Islam. Another co-worker, Traci Johnson, was also stabbed. Nolen was shot and wounded by hero, Mark Vaughan, who should have blown his head off.
The media is quick to call it “an isolated incident by a lone wolf.” An MSNBC commentator actually laughed at the idea of calling this “Muslim terrorism”, instead labeling it “workplace violence”. The reality is Alton Nolen is a black Muslim fanatic like our President, who hasn’t commented on the incident. I wonder why.

The MSM (mainstream media) will soon come to the conclusion that comedienne Joan Rivers death was caused by medical malpractice. How so?
A. The dangerous anesthesia “Propofol” was used, despite the fact that it was known for causing the death of Michael Jackson.
B. A biopsy was performed without permission.
C. Her doctor takes a “selfie” while she’s out cold.
All three of these factors fit in well for a medical mishap – – BUT, WAS THIS A SET-UP MEANT TO HAPPEN?
Quickly forgotten in all those MSM tributes was the outing of Pres. Obama and his wife by Joan Rivers. The Internet rumors of our President being gay and his wife a transsexual have long been out there, however, the MSM had skillfully avoided them. Until Joan said the unmentionable on CNN, July 4, 2014.
The MSM were forced to go after her in a CNN interview, where she walked off.

What if a political machine decided to create a backstory, erasing the truth?

And, if in the 1990’s, Barack Obama had to be coached by actor Harry Lennox on how to act like a black man from the south-side of Chicago, so be it. And if the Rev. Jeremiah Wright has to teach Obama how to behave like a Christian (instead of a Muslim), so be it. And if Obama isn’t vetted in 2008 (and John McCain is), so be it. And if Joan Rivers winds up dead, weeks after saying his life story is a fake, so be it.
